Just like every other thing I believe that eventually we will use full fluid simulation in games. But it won’t be very likely or even very possible for another decade or two. But computers are getting stronger every year so it’s only a matter of time before at least pre rendered simulations could be done in minutes or hours instead of days or weeks. And at that point it wouldn’t be long before real time simulation on a large and detailed scale would be possible. Even more likely if we figured out how to mass produce quantum computers in the next few decades.

if you love underwater effects check out soma!! the entire game takes place underwater!! my favorite part is the marine snow, it’s so wonderfully done! i also like how you can hear your character breathing and the effect when water drains when entering a building :-]

Please make it so that harvesting crops replants them or at least have a spell for harvesting crops that works like that. Replanting a lot of crops in games where they grow fast is one of the most tedious and annoying things to do in this type of games.
